Two Back-to-Back Healings

Two Healings back-to-back! WOW what another beautiful week!!!

This week I experienced some beautiful healing with my husband and my oldest son. The first thing that took place was my husband, who is a contractor, came home with pretty intense pain in his right knee. So, as we were relaxing that evening, I took the opportunity to do some hands-on healing on him. As I laid beside him, I chose to use the tools I learned from my Reiki level 1 & 2 course as well as some other great teaching through my process of learning Beyond Quantum Healing as I truly focused my intention on his knee. We had been relaxing in this manner for a few minutes, less than 10 I believe, when all of a sudden, my husband tensed up and expressed he was feeling some intense pain. I will add that up to this point my hand that was resting on his knee was throbbing with some dull pain but I stayed consistent, and even when he tensed and cried out, I didn’t budge but kept my hand lightly in place. The intense pain persisted for less than a minute if I remember correctly, and then all of a sudden it was gone and the throbbing pain in my hand was dissolving as well. But I continued to rest my hand and focus my intention of healing on his knee. It was a few minutes later that my husband in a slight disbelief said, “The pain is gone!”

It's fascinating to do this work and see the healing take place and gain even more conviction that we have the power to heal ourselves. I will add that my husband mentioned something about me doing the healing, I don’t remember his exact words, but I told him that it wasn’t me I was just a facilitator. He lovingly reminded me that it took my knowledge and growth to be able to do what I did so the healing could take place. I appreciate him pointing this out to me. I never feel like I want the praise for the healing because it truly is for any and every one!!!

So, the next day we received a family group text from our son asking for prayers and positive thoughts for his eye due to an incident he had 2 days previous that was still bothering him. We talked to him on the phone for a bit and told him we would send those prayers and positive thoughts his way and hoped the next day he was better. The next morning, I got up and as I started my morning routine, I was thinking of him and had the thought that I could try a distant reiki session for him if he wanted me to. So, I sent him a text, knowing he would already be at work and ask him if he would be interested in me doing this for him. He was game so that afternoon a did a simple session for him. Again, I will mention I had intention for this healing all day but didn’t get around to the session until afternoon. So that evening he called to talk to us and he ask what time I had done the session. Once I told him he said that around noon his time he noticed the pain in his eye all of a sudden stopped. I didn’t get to the session until a couple hours later than that. So, was the session part of his healing? Or was the intention of the session what really kicked off the healing? I remember some Beyond Quantum Healers including my teacher Candace Craw Goldman, saying the healing sometimes begins before the session. Could this be what happened? It sure feels like this might me one of those instances.

And for anyone reading this who doesn't know what Reiki is.....

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
